Does it take a few seconds for your oil pressure to read when you first start you diesels after they sit all night? Unplugged,40-45 degrees out. I started my truck alittle bit ago and it sounded nasty, it started to surge, kinda normal for my truck but it was worse than usual.
It took the oil pressure gauge a few seconds, prolly 10sec, to register. I shut it off and plugged it in, left it for 20min or so and it was fine after that. Im running a blend of 5w40 and 15w40, i just changed it a few days ago, i checked it and its full. Any ideas?
