Steering box adjusted

Howdy:
I just finished my steering box adjustment per the instructions I found on the site. What a difference! I wish I had done that a year ago. Now my Ex steers like a Porsche....with really bad oversized tires! Thanks for all the advice and tips!

How much of a turn did you put on it before you backed off?

A total of about 2/3 according to my marks that I made before I started the process. It's like driving a different truck now. The steering is much more responsive from center now and it is easier to keep in my own lane without sawing on the steering wheel like you would see in the old cheesy movies.

Our Excursion had about the same amount of adjustment,makes a big difference for sure!
