stupid clicking

Most days I get in the truck and as soon as i turn the key it turns over but has a clicking sound and it will not start...it get progressively worse...i try a second time and it will start....now it takes about 5-6 times before starting...getting worse...ggggggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

* Sounds like dirty, corroded Battery connections.

Still sounds like the same thing.. getting worse.

Clean up the connections, then Load Test >EACH< battery.. by it's self.

If one checks weak.. replace both.

Tell us more about yer truck ?

7.3 turbo...99 2wd about 80% of time i have to try and start it twice or more...when I turn key at first it makes a buzzer sound and sometimes i have to pull the gear selector on column to make sure it is in park...sometimes feels kinda loose....Automatic...maybe a relay?
totaly confused....
