My old '02 tailgate and tonneau cover sealed up pretty well without anything else done...but this new '17 f250 takes the gravel road dust back home.

I was looking at various seal kits, all run around $25-$30 for 10' or so. There is one sold by a sponsor on this site, I believe. Any experience with these? Worth it? Other options?

Thanks

I've never used one so I can't help. This will at least bump it up for you. :goodluck I just put a Truxedo X15 on my truck but no seal kit. I haven't been on a dry dirt road with it yet so I don't know how much dust I'll get. Usually the top will be rolled up with my quad in the back anyway.

Thank you! Your '04 should be like my '02 was...tight! yeah, a bit of dust at the edges, but this new truck is ridiculous. I can't believe how much road dust I blow outa it!!! You can see daylight on all 3 edges.

My tailgate has plenty of room around it actually. Oh, well. I expect dust on a dusty road. Seems to stay on the outside though now that I think about it.

Mine must run a vacuum, based on what gets deposited inside!
