top end oil change.a.k.a hpop oil. video

anybody ever changed the top end oil in the hpop system,this guy says theres 3 quarts total,one in the res,one in each oil rail.heres the video,theres 4 total but this one pretty much explains it.sounds good to me!

I changed my top end oil when I did my injectors. If you change the oil frequently enough then IMO this is not significantly beneficial.

waste of time.no need to go that far changeing the oil.the new filter will clean the soot and crap from that little bit of old oil.

I would question the three quart deal. One or 1.5 maybe but not three.

I poured 2 quarts into mine when I did the injectors but I don't see it holding 3 whole quarts. Not to mention then you have the PITA of purging the HPO system.

If changing oil types aka syn or dino different weights maybe etc makes since, I did it when I swapped injectors and when I went to synthetic, but provided you maintain your oil changes like you should, the left over oil will be black as coal for sure, but it should have minimal effect on the oil after the change. Like said probably more like 2 qts total top end, not a huge percentage when you think how much ours hold...
