Trans problem

Ok guys I need some help. On my way to work today and I got on it a little to pass some slow traffic the tow/haul light starts flashing the display says cheak guages and the trans temp guage is on zero. So I stop and pull out my evolution and pull a code P0713 I pulled all the power out to stock and the light was still on and the CEL. I eased it to work and when I got out I pulled the same code and I cleared it again. Truck seemed to drive fine half way home temp went to 0 and tow/haul flashing again but no CEL. It runs and shifts fine so any thoughts.

certainly your temp isnt high, rather sounds like code is being
thrown because you temp sender is bad...in the torqshift/5r110
the sender is inside and part of a wiring harness (pan has to be
dropped & the internal filter should be changed when you drop
the pan)

Thanks bush. Any idea how hard it is to replace or should I just forget it and drop it at the dealer.
