water in fuel light

hey ya'll
sorry for the dumb question BUT the water in fuel light came on in my 6.O , them i drained the filter on the bottem and i drained the filter on top . i also turned the fuel pump on and pumped on the top one to drain it . well the light stays on ! am i missing somthing ? my old 7.3 the light went out after you drained the filter. any ID?

well when i was layng on the ground asking the big man why in the heck they put the filter under here , i asked him about the light , i ain't got no answer yet ! oh you mean the big man at ford ! what did they say?
