Does any body know what the hottest EGTs can be run in the 6.4L? I was told 1400 deg. Is this right? I am running sct with only the dpf delete pipe, with a Man. 6 speed. 3:73gears. I know there is a lot of Spartan fans here, and they seem to be more informed than some of the SCT fans. Any knowledge will help. Actually any temp stats would help to. What is the engine safely capable of? oil, coolant temps? THANKS

I was under the impression that the lower the egt the better, but I don't think it wise to run any higher than 1450. Things would start to melt down at those temps.

Yeah you do not want to be holding the EGTs at 1450 for very long. My truck towing a 8000 lb toy hauler uphill on 100 degree F only sees 1250 maximum and I do not hold it there for very long.
