I know should probably have put this in towing section but I figured I would get more feed back here. OK, I am looking at buying a 30ft fifth wheel camper. I don't have an intercooler and don't have the money to put one. I was thinking about the 60hp program with my Banks quick turbo housing or do yall think I need to go lower. Also I have 3.55 in the rear and I am wondering should I put 3.73 or 4.10. It is an auto trans. I am getting about 16-17 mpg back and fourth to work. I know my mpgs will drop just curious how much. And any time I pull anything my mileage drops tp 12 mpg. If I could stay around that area it would be great but I know that I am asking for a lot. Thanks for the help guys.

I guess I would ask why limit yourself to a single program? Get with one of the chip burners and let them know what you are looking for. I would recommend at a minimum a 4 position chip, with a stock, high idle, tow and performance burns. If you give the burner all your info he will set you up with a chip that will put a huge smile on your face.

I wouldnt change from the 3:55's unless you are planning on towing 10K miles + a year. That can be a spendy proposition to change gear sets.

Are you having EGT problems with your 100hp setting right now?

I plan on purchasing a DP-Tuner 4 pos chip in the future but for now it will cost me $40 to have my chip reprogramed. What gears do yo reccomend?

If I read correctly you have the same chip I have and the guy doesn't charge me a thing to reburn mine, I mean hell it only takes him about a minute or two, I have my chip on the 100 setting and I have pulled some pretty heavy loads (8500#+)and had no trouble keeping under 1250 when it is around the 100+ temps outside I just have to back out a little bit and it starts dropping while i'm still pulling pretty hard in OD. I have 4:10's though. also have the downpipe, 4" exhaust and the tymar style intake. What a/r housing do you have I have heard of some heat problems while pulling with an .84 a/r housing and a chip installed.
