it looks like those cheap particle board boxes that are mass produced.

the one i had in my 91 z28, i custom built using MDF (medium density fiber board)

also, make sure if you get a premanuf. box, that it is air tight and has been sealed properly.

50 bucks sound to high for that cheap lookin POKrap

what about fitment?..if i buy this one i will re-seal the box anyways. My biggest concern is fitment.

it actually looks like your standard generic box.

i did notice they have the dementions of the box, write 'em down and go measure your space to see if the box will fit.

measure twice, buy once :sweet

Stephen - are you running a sub in your truck ? got any photos ? im always curious about what folks are doin in their installations.

I had a custom box built...and sik350 youre right..theres not much room.
I didnt move my seat forward...but did have to unbolt the seat to
get the box in.

I also had to cut the carpet away (its molded) theres nothing behind it
('cept a vent...you need at LEAST one vent...so you can shut the doors.)

I had to go w/ the solobaric 10" (L5)...the L7 is too deep...and the 12"
L5 was too deep too.

ITPDiesel moved his seat forward a little...but he made some special
mounts....one offs...id buy 'em if he ever sold 'em or was gonna make 'em...
i checked...hes got no such plans.

stereo is all bone stock in my truck. my stereo days were back in high school in the late 80's and early 90's. i had about 7grand in my stereo back then.

i still like a good soundin thumpin system, but just not into the cash that it takes today.

stereo equip. cost so much more than it did back then.

i built my own box for my 1991 z28, took up the whole trunk area. the speakers were about 2 inches from the back glass, MAN, that thing sounded good poundin off the rear deck lid.

it could hit in the high 120's on SPL.
