I am unsuccessful in finding what this type of fuse is. It goes in my UV pond filter. Multimeter showed no current going through and continuity showed it open. Radioshack was also no help.

    Thanks

Is there any kind of ratings listed on the filter? We have similar fuses at work. The exact name escapes me right now. But I could check tomorrow.

That is the first fuse like that that I have seen. You can see it has blown the fuse link, so it will not read anything on an Ohm Meter. Sorry I don't know more.

    Never seen one of those.
I saw some of the old glass type agc auto fuses with wire like that coming out each end.

See if you can get the power ratings of the pump, then someone can probably calculate what amperage you need.

No pump, just a 8w UV light is all this is for. Pump is a separate piece.

120v goes right into this then into the transformer for the light.

Ah, yeah I saw that this is just the filtering part.
    What model is it?

Everything I found came back to the old agc type round glass fuses.

There product literature does not even show that fuse. (Or one at all)

Seeing that the filter is no longer available... might be time for a new filter ?

That fuse, or what ever it is, and it's availability might be one of the reasons why ?

Look up MDV type fuses. They have the legs you need. You'll just have to figure out the rating you need. Which should be in the manual if you still have it.
