Whine at 1500 RPM's

After the new turbo install the truck sort of has a high pitch whine at 1500 rpm's has anyone experienced this after a new turbo? Is it anything I should be worried about?

BTW the truck runs fine

cant help you with that but ive heard with the new turbos in the 6.0s you gotta drive em like you stole em for the first couple hundred miles or theyll have the same problem all over again...

pete as a sanity check
since they replaced the turbo
look over teh intake piping and aircleaner really well to ensure its all connected and has no air leaks
from inside my cab its pretty quiet with just a bit of whine, not sure how loud yours is,
could you get a vid of it???? look at the our video from teh dyno run, thats about as loud as it gets, now budros on the other hand is awesome

Normal Turbo Whine.....

Just got the truck back from the Ford garage and it was told to me, all is ok.
The turbo is working normal and I should expect this little bit of whine as normal.
Now the trubo is not loud just a wee bit of whine in it, Of course I didn't hear it in the old turbo and this is the new and improved one.
The Engine makes way more power and turbo lag is almost non existent.
And my average in town no towing fuel mileage went up from 11.5 to 15.0
Me happy once more....
