I see your grill is doing its part to rid the world of flying insects. :D
are you worried about rain water ingestion with all teh baffles removed?
I was going to do it on my 02 but was concerned about the water issue

Actually the truck in the photos is a friend's rig thats catching all the insects but since then he has installed a bug screen :sweet

I've had zero problems with rain water ingestion as the intake opening is off to the side behind a part of the grille that has no holes thus blocking anything from entering straight on and I have the front bumper grille screen as well.

Myself,I wouldn't hesitate a second by doing the same modification to my next 7.3L truck based on the last 3 years track record :sweet

there's a few ways you can do it .....

John,when's the next time you going to be up this way so I can check out the cool air intake mod so I can get some pics of it to add to the article as I'm sure other 6.0L owners will benefit too :sweet
