will HPOP burn a fuel line touching it?

I finally got my two fuel lines replaced. I got SS braided teflon lines. The one going to the driver's side is touching the hpop in a couple of places. Would there be any risk that could create a hot spot on the SS enough to damage the line?

This was an expensive PITA so I dont wanna have to repeat it.

if it makes you feel better,take a piece of heater hose or something like that.cut to what you need,split down one side and slide it over the fuel line where it hits at.i did that to mine under the turbo on the passager side.i put a zip tie on the ends just hold it.

Im not too concerned really. I just know how hot that thing gets. I tried to slip the hose covers back on but there is no clearance and I couldnt get it to go on very far so I blew it off for now. My new hoses are slightly longer than original so it is all kind of cramped in there.

Those 2 old hoses were gross and slimy as heck. No bulges so I guess they were still in the safe range of degredation but glad they are gone.

I may try the covers again but we'll see. Thanks for the input.
