Worst fuel mileage ever

Just calcualated last tank of fuel, 6.919 MPG. :eek:
Now, 120 miles was loaded to 39K lbs
Anyone ever get worse?-popcorn

I don't know if it makes much of a difference but has your area implimented the new ULSF fuels? 39k is quite abit of weight!

CHP, I think someone needs to do their homework, I doubt there is any ULSD available yet :dunno
All the fuel pump stickers are saying that it is NOT ULSD.
Check it out.

I know our pumps are dispensing it now:rolleyes:

Maybe you got a fill of lesser than usual quality fuel? I'm just guessing.

i bet you left the window open on the cab of the tractor didnt you, that parasitic drag is a killer :D :D

Could be. Did get that tank from a place I normally don't go to.

Nope, but the boost gauge did peg out above 37 PSI a few times:eek:

BTW CHP, if that sticker is on your pumps down there in :tex , it is NOT ULSD. It is LSD, which we have been using for a long time.
The pumps up here have the stickers on, too.
Not wanting to prove you wrong (well, maybe:D )
ULSD is 15 ppm Sulphur, not 500:D

It's not ULSF but I know whatever has been changed with the formulation at our stations has effected the way our PSD runs:(
