I've heard this so many times now online and I still have no clue what it means. Some people have put "X-springs" on their truck. Please someone explain. I working on leveling the front of my truck.

The "X spring" is the 6000# rated spring packs that come with the snowplow prep package or on the F-450's & F-550's. When you swap out your springs for them, the extra spring rate raises the front end of your truck. I went from "V" code springs to the "X"s and it raised my front end 1-3/4" on my F-350. It does not require new shocks or anything except the springs, new u-bolts and nuts. Mine also did not require a alignment.

Hope it helps. If you are interested and need the part numbers, just yell.
