Help Needed 99 F-250 Throttle response

My 99 f-250 7.3 looses throttle response and check engine light comes on when I lift of the throttle. I am thinking it may be the throttle pedal sensor. Originally thought it was the fuel filter. Not it. I replaced the pedal assembly about 3 years ago.

If I was to guess TPS would be first on my list. If the TPS is faulty it should throw a code. Cheers, P.

I tried reading the codes but the computer has none stored because the check engine light clears itself.

Is it running rough and/or stalling?

No it is not running rough or stalling. I am getting no throttle response once I let of the throttle and put my foot back in it. If I let set for a second or two then I get the throttle back. Found a new code reader and it showed the throttle position sensor.
