Hi all,

I've got to replace the condensor on my excursion. While in the process, I'm going to change out the receiver/dryer also. Couple of questions that I have:
1) Where is the orifice tube located? I plan on changing it as well.
2) How much freon should I add?
3) How much oil should I add since I'm replacing components?
4) What pressures should I be looking for on the high and low side while servicing?

Parts should be arriving today courtesy of the powerstrokeshop.com. If I don't get to it this weekend, it will definitely get done first of next week. Thanks!!!:notworthy

Done

Well after much searching, found a website that lists capacities for freon and oil for the Ex. Replaced condenser and installed new reciever/drier, added four ounces of oil to account for the new components, pulled a vacuum and charged the system. MAJOR difference in cooling!!! Vent temps sitting in the driveway were between 55-60 degrees. Driving around with good airflow over the condenser, temps dropped another 8-10 degrees. OAT was 88 degrees per the overhead gauge. Very pleased with the outcome. ;tu
