I am towing a 5th wheeler.
What size air bags do I need?

Ward tell us more about your truck,F-250 or F-350. What kind of 5th wheel has 3 to 4k tongue wt. It must be a Teton. What is the trailer weight? If you have that much Tongue wt. you need a Mid Duty truck like a F-650.

I have a set of Firestone air bags on mine and they help out but I would not try to haul 4K with my single rear wheel F350 for a extended period of time. You must be talking about a Dually for that kind of tongue weight.

that light of hitch weight why do you need bags?
we run 2500-2700 pin wt and we just squish the overloads enough to clean the tips, rides and no bottoming.
even for a single wheel 1100 lbs is a walk in the park.

I don't have overloads on my diesel truck (light rear springs), that's why I need airbags.
The springs on my gas powered F-250 are way too stiff for a nice ride, hence my quest for another solution on the diesel truck.

Ward, you went back and edited your first post. So what kind of truck and trailer are we talking about? You went from 3000lb tongue wt. to 900 lb.tongue wt.
