Question axle pivot bushings

Has anyone ever replaced their axle pivot bushings, do you need to remove the whole side and press it in or can it be done under the truck. also i found the bushings at lmc, but they are rubber not poly. i did a 6 inch lift awhile ago and would like to replace them with poly bushings instead of rubber but havent been able to find them.

it can be done under the truck with some help to realign everything. energy suspension makes poly bushings for the 50. i don't have the part number handy
