Question Convert to power windows and door locks.

Has anyone converted the OBS powerstroke's doors to power windows and door locks from roll-up windows and non-power door locks?
Please HELP!!!!

They made them for a 1997 truck. My '93 had them. Find a good junk yard and get the parts to convert it. They should know what you need.

you need every wiring harness in the cab including the dash harness out of a truck with a stroke in it for the dash harness.unfortunately ford was retarded where chevy was smart.on a chevy all that was needed was the wiring from door to door and plug it in to the fuse box.

Yes, the Foxman has done this! Not very hard. Find a donor truck and get the harness out of both doors. Then get the harness that runs from door to door - It is located just under the windshield and above the heater box. A real bear to remove if the dash is still in the trk. You will have to add two wires feeding the plug in the left kick panel, - one hot with key on and one hot all times. In about 4 or 5 hours you can have it done.

Well thats what happened. I got 2 used doors from the salvage yard and i transplanted all the guts into my truck. Works Great!
