Diff not unlocking correctly.

F350 4wd SDD, after prolonged highway time when turning left in normal city driving the rear diff feels like it's having trouble unlocking while going thru the turn. I haven't noticed it in right turns, only left. I recently got the truck with close to 250k miles on it so went ahead and changed the gear oil, $70 worth, ouch!. The old oil was in as expected condition and quantity so no apparent reason to replace but after a quick 300 mile roundtrip last night the noise is still evident so apparently not a lube issue. Any thoughts? Appreciate the assistance.

Some of my past trucks "popped" when turning after freeway driving. I did NOTHING. It is the way it is.

what kinda gear lube are you using ?
what rear gear set do you have ?

you dont say what year your truck is, or if its drw or srw (duel or single rear wheels)

or whether or not you used limited slip additive..
or shook the driveshaft and checked for loose u-joints
