about 4:30 this afternoon...
then again about an hour later..

the two storms were within a mile of the same path..

first one missed the house by a few hundred yards...
second storm spawned it's funnel up by Gull Lake..
after blowing marbles against the doors of the shop..

You know I'd have been out there with my camera too until the last minute. A tornado might destroy my house...but not before I take his picture. I'll sure show him.

neither one of them are mine..
I had to swipe them off the TV station's website.. I was at work, watching the first one raise hell in the Oakwood neighborhood after it crossed I94 at Ninth St and US131 at N Ave...

In between the seven tornado watches, and severe thunderstorm warnings this weekend, the NWS "officially" declined to call either one of those a "tornado"

The first one, they're "officially" calling a "cold air funnel" and the damage it caused "derechio phenomena"

The second one they're calling a "funnel cloud" as no one has proof of touchdown (although there's a barn up by Dowling that's twisted 45* on it's foundation)
