Hello Community!

i am new member and hope to get lots of infos here and opinions.

I have bought a F-250 CrewCab 7,3 Diesel 4x4 - mainly to tow my 24" Pace American trailer ... my daily is a differnt car. I live in Germany .... so these cars are really rare here .. and so i am hopeing to get as much infos as i can here.

The truck was stock as I bought it and so far i have upgrade following things:

Class IV, 2 inch Trailer Receiver Hitch
Strait-Line Weight Distribution Trunnion Bar Kit (1,200 lb) with Hitch Bar
Electric brake Controller - Teshonka P3 Electronic Brake Control
7-Way Combo Adapter with Mounting Bracket
Class V Chrome Hitch Ball - 2 5-16 inch
True Cool Transmission cooler HD 40.000 GVW
Dee Zee Dimond Plate Toolbox
MBRP Single Side Off-Road exaust

Now still did not made up my mind on the air intake and also on the wheels

I thought about going for Mickey Thompson wheels and tires. Now here is question, what would you go for / recomend.

I like the Classic II wheel - and due i would stay with the stock ride hight i think 18" is the biggest i can go for with 275/65R18. Any other you can recomend / pos pictures!

Air intake - what would you go for that ?

Now here my other questions what i would like to update:

Gauges:

I want the tripple mount kit from autometer, but what gauges?

What do you have installed? Is autometer really the best and what type of gauges would you install ?

I was thinking of going for analog Autometer Sport-Comp:

Pyrometer Kit, 0-1600F
Boost Gauge Kit, 0-35PSI
Transmission Temp Gauge Kit, 100-250F

any other you would buy?

Lowring Kit:
I am more a fan of having i low truck in stead of a high one... any nice quality lowring kits out there for the truck ?

Thanks a lot for all your inputs!

i wouldn't lower the truck if you plan to pull with it a lot rather than use it for just driving around. The autometer guages are really good guages and so are ISSPRO, but ISSPRO is quite a bit cheaper. i personally have no problem with my DIY intake, but Dale's intakes are good and very reasonably priced.

I do not trust the stock E4OD automatics, but a lot of people pull with them all the time with few problems. if it was mine i would get a BTS tranny put in it, but then again if the truck was mine i would have injectors and a big chip in it too so you will probably be fine.
