Your chip is demanding a certain PSI of high pressure oil and the HPOP not being able to keep up. TS's 140 is notorious for that, too much ICP wanted for the amount of pulse width being used.:2c

Do you have a scan tool? Check ICP during cranking with a scan tool or mechanical gauge rated for 4000psi minimum.

Also check wiring to IPR.

no i dont have a scan tool or a highpressure oil gauge. if i can find a mechcanicle gauge where do i check it at?

Unplug the ICP sensor and see if it starts with a default voltage. May be a bad ICP sensor. On AE software, the 1212 code shows low ICP when cranking. Have you checked your HPOP reservoir level?


The gauge needs to go the HPO rail. The plugs are #5 o-ring boss and are NOT tapered thread(NPT.) The arrow points to the plug that I use with my mechanical guage. Make sure the hose has adequate rating too.
