I wouldn't say safe, but if you aren't afraid to pull em and oring em later (I would think you could do it with you eyes closed by now) I would give it a shot. I wouldn't reuse any older hardened oring for sure, but 8k miles should be about the same as pulling em a putting em back in like you had to pull out and reuse orings on the same job or something..., but if you wanna save 100 bucks on rings, may try it, I would just keep an extra close eye on oil, coolant, and fuel in the filter (err, I know you have a fuel system, so how would you do this???look at return fuel?), for a hundred miles or so before I took the trip...may even hook the trailer with a little load on it pre trip to pull it and get the icp up high. I don't know though, with the twin pumps and your tunes you may be able to get your icp up without a load.

not trying to save the money.i dont have it right now.i just need it to last for the trip out and ill replace them when i get there.unless i somehow sell something.i may have my (GASP!) chevy sold.so if it does sell ill just get new o rings now.but either way its going together with the old ones so i can make sure i only needed 1 injector and to make sure there isnt anything wrong with the motor.cuz i did drag a 6,000 pound car trailer with it the way it was running before i parked it

hmm that didnt come out right.:innocent what i meant is that if the chevy dont sell its going together with the old o rings.if it sells ill buy new then.should know this week sometime.if it sells ill buy new orings for it.that dont sound right either but im sure you get the point.

if i have to ill run it in economy to keep the ICP down.

If they look good, no knicks or fray's I'd feel comfortable putting them back in Rich.

thats what i was thinking mike but if i can replace them i will.but if i cant i just need it to make the trip north with my car on a trailer.im headed to upstate new york if things go the way i think they will.have a strong feeling that it may work out in my favor.if it does im thinking about selling my IDI to fund the trip and get a place to stay up there.unless i come up with enough cash without selling it then i can use the idi to bring my 2 cars with me and leave the PSD behind for a little while till i can come back to get it.i only need 1 truck to get there.the idi will kill me on fuel to get there.but i can also use both trucks if i need to.i can leave a truck and a car behind and come back at a later date to get the other truck and car.but i need the PSD to move my bed and stuff up there.

I'm with 95 stroker and that it should not be a problem, it's not much different than you pulling them out and putting it back in.

as long as the copper seal rings re-seat and seal , and you torque the hold downs correctly it should work for you. Make sure you lube them good going back in.

reuse them and dont look back unless you start growing/losing oil, or get black fuel.

quite often at work we will swap injectors around to find the cause of a skip, and not put new orings on and we never have any problems down the road.
