No tailights and guage cluster lights

My father was coming home the other night and he passed me and i noticed that his tailights were out so i called him and he said that his guage cluster lights are out as well. I have no idea what caused this we have checked fuses and i cant imagine both tailight bulbs blowing out at the same time so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is more than likely one of the fuses under the hood. Same thing happened to me last year.

Another member recently had a similar problem where the fuse was blowing repeatedly. It turned out the problem was with a rear license plate light wire was shorting out & blowing the fuse. Fixed the wire, replaced the fuse & it worked great.
