Rear window defrost ??

Got a curious question here.Its started getting cold here in NE and once again saw that my rear window , the dead center wire doesnt heat.Now my question is this norm for everyone or just me.This is my second rear window and the original (bad wead eater accident, my fault,lol) did the exact same thing.So kinda rule out an open wire.

I would think that there is not much that can be done since my edges seem to clear faster than the middle. Not sure why.

Yea just wondered is all if the center element never heats on any of em.

On the center wire that isn't heating there's most likely a hairline cut on it somewhere,doesn't take much to break the continuity.

I've seen several defroster lines cut at window tinting shops,it doesn't take much to break the lines on them as it's very thin solder lines pretty much.

Was it tinted at all?

First yes, but did before i tinted.Second never tinted.
