Warranty and a snow plow

Would installing a snow plow void the factory warranty if the truck has the snow plow prep? the dealer said no, but i'm not sure i believe him. he seemed to over confident if you know what i mean.

As long as you're sure your truck has plow prep, you're good to go!

far as i know my truck doesn`t have the snow plow package and i haven`t had a problem with warranty work...(knock on wood)....i think it will depend on the dealership....if they want the work, they will fix it....just my 2 cents...

I see many dealerships selling trucks with snowplows already on them so I would figure it wouldnt void the warranty.

i was going to add it after the purchase, the dealer marks up the plow by several thousands
