I have a 2000 F-350 and the power locks don't work. You can hit the button and they barely move and then if you hit it again they don't do anything. Kinda like they don't have enough juice to lock and unlock. Any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem in my 2000 X, I planned on replacing all the lock solenoids in the doors (I got 4!) I hope this is the right idea. I am an electrician and I know the breakdown of the wiring in the magnetic coil due to element exposure and the inherent loss of the magnetism in the solenoid coil can cause a solenoid to not operate properly, so thats why I came to my decision. They are relatively inexpensive.

Where do you guys get your lock solenoids? can you purchase them online or dealer only? What about Murrays? Oh yea also how hard are they to get at and change?
