Here's a breakdown of several fuel additives containing their lubricity numbers along with how they rank, some of the products in the list may surprise many with how well they do.

Thanks Spicer!!

It's neat to see Stanadyne and Schaffers on either side of Super Tech 2-stoke oil, as I use both of these and I know many (and CHP) advocate the 2- stroke oil.
So I guess they are about the same when it comes to lubricity :sweet

Unless I'm reading things wrong, not exactly a ringing endorsement for Diesel Kleen.

I remember MoparMan's site saying long ago that DK was not a good lubricant.

I'm glad Minnesota jumped the gun and mandated a 2% bio fuel in all diesel pumps. Makes you feel good that the government sometimes does something right.

10) Power Service Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost
Multi-purpose
Cetane improver, bio-diesel compatible, alcohol free
HFRR 575, 61 micron improvement
400:1 ratio
8.32 oz/tank
$1.58/tank

It's #10 on the list

wow, i've been running Power Service since i bought the truck. I thought it helped more than that. i think ill have to try the FPPF or the Schaffer.

In the winter I HAVE to use an anti-gel, I run into problems when i don't. Anyone else's fuel gel up on them? I can't always get the winter blend and i might forget to put the PS in a tank from time to time.
