is that what they are called where you are from??? we call them mallards here in CT. im always amused when i hear the different terminology from across the nation.

the 2 on the left look to be a good size, did you weigh them?

we call em mallards too. "greenhead" is just a nickname, because, well, you know. The drake's were freaking huge. I didn't weigh though.

we're right smack in the middle of firearm deer..
and the only thing I've seen is the family of field mice in my ground blind...

waterfowl has been over for a while...

didn't kick up a single pheasant this year...

did bag a couple nice braces of squirrels, though... I have a couple gallons of Brunswick stew in the freezer...

hopefully smokepole season will be a touch more "productive"
