hi guys im having injector stiction issues again. codes coming up for 2 injectors not firing properly. once it runs a minute all is well, mostly just runs like crap when its cold.

has anyone heard of Hot Shot's Secret supposed to be a miracle oil addative that cleans up the oil side of the injectors and "makes them fire like brand new"

has anyone used this stuff? sounds like smoke and mirrors with a bit of fish oil thrown in, however im thinking about getting some cuz at $50 a jug its much cheaper than new injectors!!! lots of testimonials on their site, but i want some no bulls##t answers

Never used it nor have I ever heard of the word stiction. It say money back guarantee if it doesnt fix your injector problem. If it is true that it is only dirty and sticking then that might be your problem. Money back is only as good as the company is itself.

Never heard of it - I now the most recent flash helps alot with injector stiction issues and cold starting. I believe it cycles the oil in the injectors before starting. I started my truck after it was sitting for 9hrs in -10 deg and it fired with one cycle of the gp and didn't miss a beat. I would be hesitant to add anything to my oil, I do use diesel kleen in my fuel tank though which cleans dirty injectors.

the flash did help it start better, but i still have the smoke and rough run. and fuel addative only cleans the fuel side, not the oil side where the stiction happens

I would be careful about any oil additive. My take on this is if it cleans the oil side of the injectors, it will clean bearings and the like, meaning removing the lubrication for a bit. I would change the injectors where the problem is. I know this is not cheap, but you bought an expensive truck. Don't cheap out now...

I have used it to fix some injectors that were giving me some problems. It worked on my truck even the dealer was impressed with the stuff. I did not have the money for new injectors so....... I'll use it again if needed.

it apparently was developed for ford ,, but never implemented ,, I have not used it ,, but I haven't seen any bad reviews ,, it either works or doesn't

I have a 6.0L. No, I do it about every 3rd oil change. You see a change in about 200 miles or so truck will start smoothing out at a idle and faster starts motor will get quieter. It's a good start if your having injector problems.
