Honestly it comes down to an opinion. I like the looks of my truck, I like the power and better turbo response. But I have had some problems with mine. I have tried SCT live wire with the DPF delete, I have worked with them for 4 months and the cant figure out my trans shifting issues. Also Airade CAI. But it throws codes, So it is now back stock. I have had very costly bad luck with trying to MOD mine, but there are a lot of people that have had no problems. There are some days I wish I bought an 07! So do your home work. That’s my opinion.

i have a 6.4 with dpf delete and spartan tune and i have had no problems at all with mine and in order to have a turbo back exhaust on the 6.4 they need to take the cab off to install the down pipe

yes if the dealer sees it. but return back stock, and there is no trace. so in other words, don't part with the stock exhaust !!!!

as far as the turbo back exhaust on the 6.4 you can do it since some companies make a 2 piece down pipe so you can put it on with out taking the cab off. This is what I plan on doing in the near future with a flow pro exhaust.

I have driven both and can say that i'm partial to the 6.0 for a few reasons:
-Single VGT (less complex and cheaper to replace than twins with close to the same throttle response)
-Don't have to remove cab for anything (Except head work)
-No DPF
-More throaty sound
-Much better Fuel economy
my .02

I agree, I miss my 06. for those reasons. the interior is pretty sweet in the new ones though
