My 2016 F350 Superduty Lariat will occasionally leave a coolant spot on the driveway. I have not found the location of the leak and had it checked out at the dealer since I’m replenishing about 1/2 gallon of coolant every three weeks. The dealer performed a pressure test and was unable to detect a leak.

The spots on my driveway is coolant, so I am baffled. The dealer suggested replacing all the hoses for $1800. I’m hesitant with doing this without finding the source of the leak. The dealer reported no pressure loss during the pressure test and they did not see coolant dripping.

Anyone run into this problem or have suggestions on what to check?

Thanks!

Which reservoir are you filling up usually? The one for the engine or the one for the intercooler?

I had a similar situation with my 2011 just off warranty. I took it to a rad shop rather then the dealer and they located it quickly and I had to change the rad. It was a slow seam leak and they indicated it had been a weakness of the rads used at the time. I've put 250K on with the new rad and no problem.

Climb up and look in the back were the coolant line goes into the turbo. Not easy to see but it is a common place that leaks. It is what I found on my 2011

I’m refilling the reservoir. Thank you for your inputs on what to look for. Getting ready to take the 5th wheel on the road and would like this mysterious leak fixed before heading out.
