My truck has been pulling 14ish MPG since I got it, except for one tank where I ran a bottle of Stanadyne through it and it had a brand new fuel filter, pulled 16.5 there. Been consistent around 14 since then. So my thought process is that the additive cleaned up a bunch of crap and clogged the fuel filter again. So I have two filters on order from PowerStrokeShop.com. My plan is to change the filter, then run some Bio through for a couple tanks, or run another couple tanks w/ additive through to clean up a bunch of stuff, clog that filter up, and then slap the other filter in and hopefully get back to that 16.5ish MPG range.

Got the truck in Sept when the weather was nice and it was still the 14ish MPG. I've driven the truck a hair over 5k and every tank but the one right after the fuel filter change with Stanadyne has been around 14mpg. The last two tanks have been right around 10mpg, but that includes letting it warm up for 10-15 minutes twice a day, and sitting in traffic for 3 hours to move two miles, and lots of deep snow driving.

With that driving regimen, be glad youre getting 14.

It doesnt need to warm up that long. Let it high idle for a few mins and then go if it is really cold.
