    Auxiliary fuel tank in bed of 2016 F350 SWB

    To replace the OEM tank with a larger tank costs about the same as the complete in the bed tank. When finished, I would have 45 gallons or so, but if I put a tank in the bed, I would have the OEM 26 gallons plus around 45 more.

    Just picked up our new Lariat. Pulled an enclosed trailer with the first load of our stuff to Mesa Arizona from Colorado. Only got about 9.5 MPG........I hope that will get better. My friend says all those horses need to be fed. Great truck though, and if it had about 75 gallons of fuel...

    I thought that could be what was meant by "four down towing," but I couldn't imagine why someone would be towing a Superduty.

    Truth is, I don't have one.....yet. We have pulled a tow behind camper for years with gas powered vehicles, now we have a Model A that we want to haul back and forth to Arizona, and I don't want to tow with a sweaty brow and white knuckles anymore, so we will have an F250 at some point soon...
