Coolant Confusion 2008 6.4L

Working on my father's 2008 6.4L King Ranch...belt went and so doing a coolant flush for him as had to drain it to access the belt...he doesn't have the manual, research shows Ford Gold as recommended with many guys saying they have switched to some other ELCs. Weird thing in the fluid in it is orange not gold / yellow and it had never been changed...so could really use some direction as I see info saying use Gold/G05, others ay use Ford Yellow or some equivalent, and others say use a Cat-1 ELC...dad has cancer, trying to take care of this for him and save him a trip to the dealer for a $500 flush and replace.

Ford Gold is the coolant recommended by the Diesel Engine Supplement included in the Owner's Manual package. I've used it since I've owned my 2008, no complaints.
