i found it easier to get the kit than to have to hunt down all the parts. the kit comes with great instructions and everything necessary. including the sd fuel pump, regulator, filters, wiring, fuel emergency cutoff switch, oil pressure switch, etc
you would have noticed a difference if you changed the injectors before the fuel system. with stock injectors, you won't really notice much of a power increase, but going from stock fuel to electric with bigger injectors already installed is where you notice the power increase
you may want to try replacing the glow plug relay to help with the cold starts.
you're right about the fuel drain, but try loosening the fuel bowl lid to let some air in then turning the yellow lever. there is a tube that goes down to the front of the block which could also be blocked if...
it's a great all in the box system. sure, you can probably piece it together for a little cheaper, but the convienence is worth it. the instructions are great and easy to follow. i'm very happy with it and allows room for more upgrades in the future, especially makes it easier to change out...

to clear it up, which engine is it? '94 non turbo, '94 turbodiesel, or '94 powerstroke? i'm not sure what model u-haul uses all the time but is it a pickup front end or van front end? pics would help
uloadit is right. it's actually an easy fix. i did it a couple months ago. just use a little heat to break the original loctite loose. and it is important to have the hpop in the position uloadit described.
it can be done under the truck with some help to realign everything. energy suspension makes poly bushings for the 50. i don't have the part number handy
