    Buying a new truck. Opinions wanted

    Do not buy a 6.4 if you are NOT working it, I have a 6.4 and my drive to work is only 10 miles and I never get above 40 mph. The dpf never completes it cleaning cycle and I have had nothing but problems with it after 130k miles. I have parked my 08 and I drive my 97 7.3 every day to work now...

    Thanks for the welcome!! Those are all the trucks that I own in the pics! I have also owned a 6.9 and 7.3 turbo diesel, the only ford diesel I missed out on is the 6.0 and the newest 6.7. Today im changing the glow plugs on my 97 7.3 PSD and having a heck of a time getting that back bolt off...

    Thank for the info! Very helpful. I am replacing the rear end in my 1992 F250 7.3 idi. I will be using it for highway and trips to feed store. This is a pic of the tag on the inside of the door that I am repairing. Can you tell me more about this rear end. Thanks for the help!
