    Thanks for the input guys. The advice in this thread Oilburners.net says that this can also be caused by dirt or dust. I pulled the Pedal Position Sensor (PPS) off the truck and blew it out with an air hose. It worked like new, for a week, and is now beginning the same symptoms again...
