Tire pressure is 65 all the way around. Tires balanced about 10,000 miles ago; even wear. I do not know about the shocks...Ranchero 9000s I believe, and have been on there a long time.
About a week ago, my truck started doing some kind of rattling. This rattling also creates a vibration that can be felt in the seat and steering wheel. When I hit a small bump, the rattling will stop, but returns after a little while. This starts as early as 25 MPH but usually around 55 MPH...
When I was having delay wiper issues, I found a multi function switch in a salvage yard and that fixed it. Cost $8.00 or so I think. Pretty simple swap.
The people in the 4runner lived? That surprises me too. I wonder if the driver of the white truck had a medical condition...stroke or cardiac arrest, that caused all of this.
This may not be too helpful, but most bearings will have a number marking on them. If you have that number, it will be easier to cross-reference and find a replacement.
Well, I applied the sealant and put it back together. I was torquing the bolts down and broke the one in the rear. The leak was minimal so I drove it to the shop to let them deal with it. This coolant flush has been a nightmare from the start.
I bought the billet aluminum housing to replace stock. I will flush what's In there and add some RTV sealant upon final assembly and see if that fixes it.
