And he showed a severe lack of judgement at Darlington when he pushed Kevin Harvick's unmanned racecar out of his way in a crowded pit lane after the race. "lack of judgement" seems to be his M.O. anymore !
Don't forget the shimming of the fuel pressure regulator for a smoother running truck and laying a good foundation for future mods. along with changing out all the fluids for slippery silicone that will last longer and stay cooler
I already have the 4" exhaust and the riffraff diesel big air...
I have a 99 PSD 7.3 and just had the glow plugs replaced today by a mechanic freind who only charged me $100 for labor. He said they all came out well with no problems and only 1 or 2 had been working prior to removing them. We believe that they were the original OEM plugs that were 12 years old.
I have a 97 Dutchmen 30' TT that is about 7000 lbs traveling weight (no slideouts or superhigh ground clearance). I went on 3 different 150 mile trips this Summer with mixed highway/2 laner with curves and hills and averaged 12.5 MPG.
RiffRaff Diesel carries an awseome AFE "Big Boost" filter along with the intake tube, and a custom filter sleeve all for about $120. This filter flows 850 CFM and is fully washable. Now the Banks kit and the AFE stage 2 kit are both about 4x the $$ of my setup, and I highly doubt that they...

Well, as it turns out, the stage 1 AFE does not fit the early 99 trucks so I cancelled that order and went with the RiffRaff diesel special AFE "big boost" filter (850CFM) that has the black prefilter sock, and the curved intake pipe for $100 less than the stage 1 kit.
This frees up money for...
Rammertide;..........You are probably getting better mileage than indicated on your center console because the bigger diameter tires aren't rotating as many times per mile as the stock size, making the computer believe you haven't traveled as far.
I've got an AFE stage 1 kit on it's way...
A couple weeks ago I got my first diesel truck mainly for the power and better mileage than my previous truck (94 F-250 4x4 with a 351 and 4.10 gears). So far I love it for towing my 30' Dutchmen camper, and my daughters horse trailer to all the shows she wants to go to.
I have been getting...
