Where is the best online store to get the plastic door handles to match the color of the truck? I cant get the powerstokeshop.com site to open up for me. It just locks up.
Who can tell me where it is located? This excusion we just bought has a key pad on the door and I cant find the number anywhere. Ford says it should be on the module where ever that is. Also, does it have a filter for the AC intake? If so, where is it located to? Thanks
Bummer, someone really needs to take this project off my hands. I will take what I have in it. Mine had 3.55 gears factory and I found out when changing gears that the 3.55 carrier was too large to use with the 4.56 gears. It didnt matter to me though because I put the lockers in and it replaced...
The carrier from a 3. what ever axle will not fit a 4.56 ring gear. The 4.56 is too small in diameter to fit the 3.55 or 3.00 carrier. You could just buy my project truck and save yourself a lot of headache and money. Mine has 4.56 and Detroit lockers front and back. Its for sale. :D
I couldnt get a part number for the V10 cooler so I got the stock replacement cooler. I installed the supplied filter after the coolers in the return line going back to the trans. I got the OTW cooler flushed out and all back together. This trans seems great. It shifts great and I have put about...
I guess I will use the inline filter that came with the reman unit at first. I was just concerned about getting all the metal out of my OTA cooler. Whats the best place top get the V10 cooler? Should I just call up the dealer? Thanks
Trans finally took a crap a few weeks ago. I have since bought a reman from the guys at Powerstrokeshop.com. Upon flushing the cooler in the radiator to rid it of its metal flakes, I discovered that it is impossible to get all of it out. I have to replace the Oil to Air cooler for warranty...
Dezlwezl, did you get it rebuilt at that shop you told me about since your last post here? I guess I am going to call him up and see about dropping mine off. When did you get it built and how is it doing?
I have a set of fan clutch wrenches that have a long bar on them and you can attach it to an air hammer to break it loose. Works great. http://www.matcotools.com/Catalog/toolcatalog.jsp?cattype=T&cat=2094&page=1隃
