Powersteering pump
I put new pumps and lines in both the F350 and Excursion. It got very loud in both. I recall a Ford service bulletin out a while back on Excursions stating the lines were the reason for the steering noise.- dougger222

got weighed today
My wifes SUV tips the scales at just under 8K lbs. Took it across the scale at the dump with a 3/4 load of shingles in the trailer and it was 25,020 lbs. A full loaded with the DRW weighed 27,520 lbs. Sweet another Ford truck loving roofer!!!- dougger222

Need help with Excursion door locks...
Done this to every door on the X and now two are bad again. One stopped working only a few months after installing so guessing something may have come undone. Excursion dually

What is too many miles?
I paid $25.5K for the F250 with 40K miles and it's now got 251K miles. It's used 100% for business use. The DRW has 132K miles and the X has 182K miles. Guess what motor is the strongest? Actually what I'd really want is another 00 X with the forged rod motor. Most have tons of miles on them. From 104K miles at time of purchase to 181.5K miles currently it's been almost trouble free.- dougger222
