    The hardness is a "nice to have", most kits don't come with it. A trip to Radio Shack or AutoBarn-like store will cost you about ~$5 to make up the harness. All it is a 30A fuse and relay to protect against feedback.

    I think the "upgrade" makes the bulbs run too hot which shortens their life span. I had 3 bulbs die out in less than 9 months. I have had a 35W hid kit for about 6 months and a 50W hid kit for barely two weeks and so far no problems, and no sign of overheating. Ender

    I just switched from #1 to #2 and this is my opinion only. The "upgrade" of the halogens makes the bulbs VERY hot and they seem to die off a lot sooner. The 2nd time it happened I got a ticket coming home with only one headlight and it cost me $225 on the ticket. Ender

    Yeah hidfoglight.com. The F250 kit was about 20 minutes of work(excluding time for my own mistakes). The other kit for my beamer was about 40-50 minutes, I had to drill a hole in my bulb holder, which is normal for these cars. Ender
