Oil Pump

Has anyone had to change the oil pump in the 7.3 idi while the engine is still in the truck? I have a 4x4 F 350 with a C-6 trans. I want to install a new oil pump before I install the new Banks sidewinder kit. Thanks:confused:

Thanks Thank you all for the info on turbos. Have any of you installed the water/methenal injection to help cool the exhaust gasses?

I have an 1988 F350 crew cab 4X4 non turbo. I want to install a kit which would be the best? Bank or Hypermax? Thanks
