I have an 1988 F350 crew cab 4X4 non turbo. I want to install a kit which would be the best? Bank or Hypermax?

Sorry, but I don't know Jack about those older trucks.

I'm sure some of the older members here can help you out.

FYI, banks stopped producing new turbo kits for our trucks.......and they dont sell replacement parts, they will only replace things under warrenty. They just stopped producing them in Jan. or so I'm told.

I hear that ATS is going to or has already stopped making new turbo kits as well.......so it looks like the hypermax will be the only new kit you can get.

And as far as how good they are, they are all good kits. Hypermax is probably a little better for towing (non gated), while banks and ATS are better for running around empty (wastegated).

Hypermax is the cheaper of the three. If I were to buy a new kit, I would buy a hypermax.

Thank you all for the info on turbos. Have any of you installed the water/methenal injection to help cool the exhaust gasses?
