ok guys, i disconneceted ebpv, smoke. disconnected epbs, smoke. ( by the way ebs tube is clear) this is what that mechanic calls egr.this is what he replaced. i disconnected both ebpv and epbs at the same time, smoke. i did not notice any difference in performance. i again took off vacuum line...- fordfast

morings have been in the 40's. turbo seems to running fine. i can hear it spinning . i will disconnect the epb in the morning and try it out. should there be less smoke ? and is this easy to change out?- fordfast

i can try it. i was told not to run bio diesel becuase it would screw up my fuel lines, i.e. plugging fuel filter.- fordfast

i live in aurora colorado denver suburb. did not notice any sticker. i did buy the truck in montana. lived there for 3 years. personally i think the truck runs great. i think i can give the tester a few extra bucks to pass the test. colrado uses independent testers for diesel vehicles whereas...- fordfast

it is an opacity test had four test zero shift 40 mph 50 mph 60 mph. all but the 40mph opacity passed. mph read 53% and it should be under 35%- fordfast

got a problem 97 f350 failed emission test. tech says burning to rich at low speeds 0-40 mph blowing black smoke. clears out after 40 mph. took to mechanic first tells me egr is bad and replaces it. still failed emission test. now he tells me waste gate and waste gate solenoid needs to be...- fordfast
