I'm sure these newer vehicles have a larger miliamp draw even if nothing is wrong compared to vehicles from the 80s (which is what I'm used to).     The napa battery that was in the truck when I got it froze. Its outside was covered in frost and the sides were buldging. It was still under warrenty so was less than a year or so old.

    Any advice on how to find the problem? Thought the test I did with the multimeter would show a abnormal draw, unless the draw gets worse after it sits a couple hours/days. May have to leave a meter hooked up for a days at a time and see if the draw gets worse. I had a alt. in a small car...

    How did you trace it to the AIH solenoid? The platnum batteries have been in truck for 8-10 months. I wish my bats would drain in 15 min. Waiting 3 weeks before they go dead makes it hard to troubleshoot.

    connections at the battery are very clean and very well greased. They came greased from the guy I bought it from which makes me think he had a similar problem... maybe the reason truck was sold. Maybe one of the platnums went bad in the last couple weeks. I'll have to find a load tester and see...

    Hit a partridge today, bird got stuck in the coolers between the fog lights and license plate and the plastic thing the plate mounts in flew up and over the hood. I see 4 holes but just need to know what kind of bolts/screws/push dart things held the black plastic plate holder to the bumper?

    I can visably see the bushings on my sway bar where it attaches to the front axle are bad. I think they are blue in color....would that be original? Where does everyone suggest buying them from? Are the stock ones poly or rubber? If rubber are poly ones available anywhere?

I've tried just letting off the throttle and pushing it again, still no RPM change, also tried touching the brakes a bit while giving it throttle and no rpm change.     smaller mirrors vs bigger ones

    I am still looking, so please PM me the info. My recent find was a '02 f250 for $17k with 115k miles, it is a short box though which is what may keep me from buying it, lariat, nice maroon/red color with grey on the bottom. Never had a 5th wheel, edge programer, and its around 500 miles from me.
